How to Get to Our Ramsgate Office
By Road
Ramsgate is easily accessible from London and the South East via the M2 and A299 Thanet Way.
- Follow the A2 from London and join the M2 towards Dover
- Continue onto the A299 Thanet Way towards Ramsgate
- Take the A256 towards Ramsgate town centre
- Our office is located on Queen Street opposite Waitrose
Parking
Parking is available directly opposite the office in the Waitrose car park as well as nearby town centre car parks. Pay and display parking bays are also available on surrounding streets.
By Bus
The Stagecoach Thanet Loop bus service runs frequently through Ramsgate and stops on Queen Street within a short walk of the office, connecting Ramsgate with Broadstairs, Margate and Westwood Cross.
By Rail
Ramsgate railway station offers high speed services to London St Pancras in approximately 1 hour 20 minutes and direct services to London Victoria and London Charing Cross. The station is around a 20 to 25 minute walk from the office or a short taxi journey.
About the Ramsgate Branch
The Ramsgate office of Cooke & Co was opened in 2009 by Damien Cooke’s daughter Becky Cooke and has since become an important part of the Cooke & Co presence across Thanet. The office underwent significant refurbishment in both 2016 and 2022 and now provides a modern, welcoming environment for buyers and sellers.
Situated on Queen Street opposite Waitrose, the office benefits from a prominent location with excellent visibility in the heart of Ramsgate town centre. The premises provide comfortable client areas together with private rooms for confidential property discussions and valuations.
Our Ramsgate branch specialises primarily in residential property sales across Ramsgate and surrounding areas including Pegwell, Nethercourt, St Lawrence, Cliffsend and the wider Thanet district. The office works closely with our Margate and Broadstairs branches to ensure maximum marketing exposure across the whole of Thanet.
Ramsgate itself is one of Kent’s most historic and characterful coastal towns and is home to the only Royal Harbour in the United Kingdom.
